AMERICA MUST STOP SUPPORTING IRA

WE are all sorry and horrified at what happened in America.

But sending in the Army has never, and will never, stop the terrorist.

Of course, the Armed Forces must strike and strike hard at Osama Bin Laden and those who support him, but it can be done without killing masses of civilians.

Even so, when the word is given to go in, the politicians should shut up and leave it to the military.

They might have university degrees, but many will have little idea what it is like to be there, to go without sleep for days, eating bits and bobs when you get five minutes, walking and running for miles and seeing your best mates and even strangers in bits all around you.

It is also America's first real terrorist attack, which we have had to live with for more than 30 years.

They want to stop the supplies to the terrorists, so I hope now they will stop supporting and supplying the Irish terrorists because, believe me, even after 27 years, the images of dead and broken bodies don't go away.

So America, clean up at home as well as overseas.
