ALSAGER Town fought back from two goals down on Saturday to earn their third 2-2 draw in a row.
Blackpool Mechanics were two up after 35 minutes of their home league encounter.
Alsager pulled one back a few minutes later, and equalised midway through the second half.
They should have won the game, but squandered a host of chances.
"We had two goals disallowed for offside, which looked perfectly good goals, and their keeper made four magnificent saves," said Alsager press officer Sam Brotherton.
"That's the third 2-2 draw in a row, which should have been three wins, which have left Greg Clowes bewildered and very frustrated.
"He gave the team a real roasting at half-time, and whatever he said really worked."
Alsager welcomed back Rob Drummond after suspension, and both teams started well.
Alsager seemed to lose their way on the half hour, and the home side scored twice in five minutes.
Poor marking led to the Blackpool opener, Vickers heading home a corner from eight yards out.
Park scored from the penalty spot on 35 minutes to make it 2-0 after Cleary was fouled in the box.
Alsager pulled one back eight minutes before half time when Dick found space on the right.
His cross into the box was met by Kinsey, who fired home from 10 yards.
Alsager looked a different side in the second half, and Blackpool had their keeper to thank for keeping them in the match.
He denied Brotherton twice and Kinsey, and kept out a fierce goalbound free kick by Lawton from 30 yards.
Alsager equalised in the 68th minute when Brotherton flicked on a corner for Ireland to head home at the far post.
Machin missed a glorious chance for Alsager to take the three points late on when his tame shot at an empty net was cleared by a defender.
Alsager won 2-0 at Chadderton on Tuesday night with goals from Bailey on 58 minutes and Timms on 78.
Dick was sent off on 20 minutes for a foul, and Kinsey missed a penalty on 55 minutes.
Alsager are at home Blackpool tomorrow in the League Cup, kick off 12.30pm because of the England match.
