Nantwich took the lead five minutes before half-time when number 10 Wilkinson turned in the box and fired home from nine yards.

The visitors scored their second 10 minutes before the end when Powner misjudged a corner.

Before he was able to recover number eight Knight headed in from close range.

Eaton pulled one back for Alsager on 88 minutes with a shot from 20 yards.

Alsager lost 9-0 at home to Crewe Alex on Monday night in a friendly to raise money for the club

They were 2-0 down at half-time, and the match attracted a crowd of 150.
