GUILTY verdicts were last night returned by a jury on two men over the torture gang killing of Nantwich father-of-two Brian Waters.
Self-styled undercover TV investigator James Raven, aged 44, was convicted of murdering Mr Waters and conspiracy to cause grievous bodily harm to both him and fellow torture victim Suleman Razak.
Also found guilty of the same charges was 54-year-old John Wilson - alleged by prosecutors to have masterminded the attack on Mr Waters and Mr Razak at Burnt House Farm, Tabley, near Knutsford, in June 2003.
Co-defendant Ashley Guishard, aged 29, of York Road, Sale, was found not guilty of the murder and GBH offences by jurors after two-and-a-half days of deliberations at Chester Crown Court.
His lawyers had earlier argued that there was not a shred of evidence to link him to the murder scene.
