GRANT Flexman-Smith raced ahead of the competition when he took part in a Jail4Bail day.
Mr Flexman-Smith joined the Warrington Guardian's Stephen Bailey in the fund-raising event for The Tim Parry Johnathan Ball Trust, based at the peace centre in Old Hall.
Participants were asked to raise a £500 bail after being arrested' by police and dragged to jail as a town crier read out their crimes.
And while few people can match Stephen's skills when it comes to unearthing a story, the finance director from Taylorshaw Catering in Birchwood topped his costume, winning the prize for best-dressed convict!
The director won a Ferrari driving challenge donated by Driveme.net
The sports car was brought to his workplace for a quick test-drive and, thanks to the event, more than £9,000 was raised for the trust.
